Blaufränkisch is a red grape native to Austria and is most prolifically planted in the region of Mittelburgenland which is also fondly called Blaufränkischland.
Tastes Like
The classic Blaufrankish crackles with acidity and red fruit, finishing long on the back of fleshy tannins. Older vintages take on a softer tone.
