Château Lynch-Bages sits almost at the gates of the Left Bank commune of Pauillac in Haut Medoc. This historic and revered Chateau on the banks of the Gironde estuary makes wines predominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, highlighting its solid Left Bank credentials. The Chateau is officially classified as one of 18 Fifth Growth estates as part of the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
The Chateau traces its beginnings back to the mid 18th century and was purchased by the Cazes family in the 1930s who still presently own it. Chateau Lynch-Bages owns 100 hectares of vineyards rooted in well drained gravel and limestone soils. Echo de Lynch Bages which is part of the Wine Park selection is produced from handpicked grapes and aged for over 14 months in barrels.
