Dog Point Vineyard is a boutique estate, nestled in New Zealand’s cool,windswept region of Marlborough on the country’s South Island. DogPoint Vineyard began its vinous journey over 18 years ago, founded byviticulturist Ivan Sutherland and winemaker James Healy who hadworked together at New Zealand’s iconic producer Cloudy Bay.Ivan was in fact one of Marlborough wine’s pioneers, having plantedvines as far back as the 1970s. Dog Point Vineyard’s philosophy iscentered around hands on viticulture and organic farming. Dog PointVineyard has emerged as one of New Zealand’s finest producers ofSauvignon Blanc, especially barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc.
