This Napa Family Estate of over forty years has been turning out wine of superbquality thanks in no small part to the Honig family’s environmentally respectfulvalues. The winery runs entirely on solar power and the vineyard is protectedfrom pests not by chemicals but rather, a bunch of diligent dogs and birds. Theresulting wine is an authentic and concentrated reflection of Napa’s grand terroir.Making award winning wine since 1980, the family has focused exclusively on twovarietals, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, recognizing their potential tothrive in the soils of Rutherford. Their vineyard was one of the first to receive theCalifornia Sustainable Winegrowing certification.
