Sattlerhoff

The Sattlerhof estate, nestled in the cool climes of Gamlitz in the South Styria region, has a rich wine making legacy of 133 years. Chief winemaker Willi Sattler takes a very modern approach and attributes his winery’s success to the approach of cultivating small vineyard parcels on steep hills with a special emphasis on organic winegrowing, sustainable treatment of the soils and nurturing the vines to increase their longevity. Sattler is personally hands-on
throughout the fruit’s journey from vine to wine, emphasizing
hand-selection of grapes and careful pressing of the must –
all of which combines to produce excellent taste and sublime quality.
