Where It’s FromCharbono (Bonarda) is a French grape from the region of Savoie which like Malbec found its true expression across the Atlantic in California’s Napa Valley.Charbono also makes a very drinkable red in Argentina’s Mendoza Valley where they locals call it Bonarda.

Tastes LikeCharbono is most at home in Napa’s sunny climes, rooted in its rich soils bring out a wine of generous red fruit and smokey tones with rounded tannins and is rather reminiscent of Merlot.
