A popular varietal in Itay, Moscato goes by many names across the world. It was in fact originally known as Muscat, having originated in the Middle East. Moscato thrives in Italy’s southern, Mediterranean climes, producing light and sweet sparkling wines like Moscato d’Asti and Asti Spumante.

On the palate, Moscato tastes of lemons, orange blossoms and pear and a good rush of acidity.
