A delectably fruity white, Vermentino is a wine indigenous to Sardinia, an island in Italy’s north west. The grape also enjoys vine acreage in Piedmont on the Italian mainland where it is know as Favorita and in neighbouring France where the white wine is referred to as Rolle.
Tastes Like
Similar to Sauvignon Blanc, this white wine displays notes of grapefruit, peach and lime with a whiff of minerality and depending on how it is vinified, the wine drinks easy and crisp or can be opulent with creamy texture.
