Fratelli is India’s largest privately owned winery, based in region of Akluj which it literally put on the map when it opened in 2007. The vineyards in Akluj to the south of Pune are spread over 240 acres. The winery has launched at a time when Indian wine industry was on the up.
Under the guiding hand of master Italian wine maker Piero Masi, the estate crafted an eclectic of wines since 2007. Fratelli’s vineyards are blessed with perfectly nutrient poor and highly mineral soils. Combined with the temperate Maharashtrian climate, Fratelli produces wines which showcase varietal purity at its. state-of-the-art winery.
