Based in one of Germany’s finest wine regions of Nahe, WeingutDönnhoff enjoys a well established reputation of producing highquality Riesling. The family estate has its vineyards Nahe’s sub regionof Oberhausen and has been producing wine since the mid-18thcentury.Its modern renaissance however began in 1971 thanks to familymember Helmut Dönnhoff who took over as winemaker and hasbeen richly praised by Robert Parker and legendary wine writer HughJohnson. Wiengut Donnhoff’s Riesling vineyards are rooted in volcanicsoils that impart fine minerality and good acidity.
