Heinrich

Heinrich is an Austrian family estate credited with transforming the region where it makes its wines. Founded by Gernot and Heike Heinrichin 1990, Heinrich chose adventurously to plant red wine grapes in the Neusiedlersee region, creating an unoaked and elegant Pinot Noir style. The moderating effect of Lake Neusiedl and the alluvial soils are ideal for nurturing red wine grapes. This geographic advantage coupled with faith in biodynamic viticulture has led the Hienrich family to emerge as one of Austria’s leading makers of red wine.
