Where It’s FromPetit Syrah is a small red grape and Rhone Valley resident that is the product of a crossing of Syrah and a rarely planted French grape called Peloursin. Interestingly, it is the America that produces most of the world’s Petit Surah under the name Durif.

Tastes LikePetit Syrah ripens early and yields a wine that is both high in acid and tannins though there’s also plenty of fruit flavour on the palate of the likes of plum and raspberry laced with pepper.
