Which is why Soffocone di Vincigliata is the only wine in his collection that is named after the vineyard from the where the precious fruit for this superlative red, was handpicked. Vincigliata is the Graetz family vineyard which Bibi has been tending to for over 26 years. The picturesque vineyard overlooks Florence and the wine is just as gorgeous on the palate. He named the wine Soffocone as a tribute to the ‘hills where everything started'. This single vineyard expression of Sangiovese impresses the senses with floral tones, ripe cherries and herbs, balanced by good acidity and soft tannins to finish.
