Bottle Story+
The wine of this haloed Margaux estate shines in a class of its own, brimming with finesse and a sterling history. Château Rauzan-Ségla is belongs to the envied historic club of Chateaux that was classified as Second Grand Cru Classé during the era defining 1855 classification of Bordeaux chateaux. The estate's journey began as far back as the 17th century and is today rated as a top Bordeaux producer, thanks to its wines that balance structure and elegance. Rauzan-Ségla's 70 hectares of vineyards cover the array of geologies and soils found in the Margaux appellation and proudly reflect this diversity. The tower represented on its label was erected in 1905. The traditional Left Bank blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon and expresses dark fruit and a touch of smoke, finishing on the back of smooth tannins.
