Bottle Story+
Liquid gold would be an apt way to describe this refreshing and interesting Italian white from the stables of Coltrenzio up in Italy' cool north. The Pfefferer Moscato Giallo has a lot going on with the palate, geographical and cultural influence and some winemaker magic. Italian for Golden Muscat, this grape has fruity and spicy characteristics, making it a unique clone of the international grape Muscat that the alpine region Alto Adige's famous winery has turned into a peachy and spicy ferment. The region's cool climate gives the grape enough hang time to evolve its hallmark style. Pfefferrer is German for the Spicy One, an undoubted tribute to Italy's next door neighbour Austria and the twang of spice on the palate to compliment the citrus and stone fruit.
