The Cabernet Sauvignon shows a full-bodied style with rich mulberry, plum and blackcurrant flavours supported by soft tannins. The wine is deep red in colour with clear star bright clarity, smooth with good weight made in a friendly new Cape style with no hard edges. This wine does not come across as bone dry but rather a fruity softness medium dry.

Bottle Story+
South Africa is widely credited for being among the first to shine a light on the potential of the straight Cab and brought this style into its own in the sunny climes of the Western Cape with Stellenbosch's bold 'Cab' becoming an international phenomenon. However, the underrated, sunbathed region of Robertson Valley also quietly makes a Cabernet Sauvignon that radiates with a distinctly South African streak and a bounty of black and red fruit. Robertson Winery is a community of 26 farming families under the umbrella of Robertson winery work together to create terroir driven wines. Cellar master Bowen Botha has smartly assessed the Robertson Valley terroir that is bathed in ample sunlight tempered by cooling nights which allows Bowen to make a Cabernet Sauvignon style with generous weight and fruit, complimented by soft tannins that balance the wine's full bodied character.
