The Castagnedi brothers have crafted the La Bandina Valpolicella Superiore organically from grapes harvested on a single vineyard of Mezzane in the famed Monti Garbi district, rooted in limestone rich soils.The wine is a classic blend featuring the indigenous grapes Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina, and Oseleta. The handpicked grapes are gently crushed and post fermentation, sit in French oak barrels for two year. The eventual red blend brims with flavous of cherries, tobacco and cedar wood with impressive tannic length.
