Piedmont's Alba region is much adored for a style of wholesome reds that is affectionally called ‘everyday hero' though the prestigious estate of Vietti has elevated this reliable hero to another level with its unique blend containing fruit from three prized vineyards. The grapes are handpicked from organically nurtured limestone rich vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba and La Morra. The blend is aged in barrique and steel tanks for over a year and beautifully balances ripe red fruit character, generous acidity and structure, capped by earthy minerality.
