Bottle Story+
When Vincent Girardin and his head winemaker Eric Germain wanted to make a wine that best defines the estate's red Burgundy and give wine enthusiasts an authentic and accessible sense of grand Burgundian Pinot Noir, the region of Cote de Beaune was a natural choice. Cote de Beaune is a delectable mosaic of limestone soils, diverse altitudes and helpful sun exposure for the sloping vineyards. The region enjoys a continental climate, ideal for the homegrown stars, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The region's Pinot Noir style is best encapsulated in this vintage Bourgogne Rouge, barrel aged for 15 months and brimming with ripe red fruit, medium body and expressive tannins.
