Oakwood Vineyards

Oakwood Vineyards is a Shrirampur based estate that established in 2007 by the Keval family and focusses on producing only barrel aged red wines for contract clients. The company’s vineyards are located at the foothills of Western Ghats in Ahmednagar District (Maharashtra). The vineyard benefits from well-drained chalky soil and the moderate climate.

The Oakwood viticulturists take an organic approach to farming the vines. The vineyards are presently planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. Their winery has a capacity of producing five lakh litres and barrel ageing over one lakh litres of wine. Wine making is overseen by French oenologist Mathias Pellissard.
