Famille Fabre

Famille Fabre is one of the oldest independent wine producers in Boutenac andperhaps the whole of Languedoc and has been family owned since 1605. LouisFabre is the owner, representing the family’s 14th generation along with his wifeClement, her husband Louis and Jeanne Fabre (daughter and wine tourism) aswell as long-time winemaker Bernard Rehs.The vineyards are situated on well-drained, low-nutrient soils, helped by theAtlantic winds that blow down the Aude Valley. The wines are elegant expressionsof the Languedoc while still reflecting their rugged and rebellious region. FamilleFabre has been certified organic since 1991 and today they produce 100 per centorganic wine at the estate with some biodynamic practices as well.
