Journey to the heart of Barberesco country with Produttori delBarbaresco. Based in Piedmont’s epic district of Barbarersco, thisinternationally acclaimed cooperative was founded in 1958 by a priestcalled Don Fiorino Marengo with 19 families which today has grown to 51making wines from over 100 hectares.Over the past six decades, this collective of families of growers andwinemakers has made all its red wines from the Piedmont’s indigenousstar grape Nebbiolo, producing a Barbaresco DOCG and Nebbiolo Langheas well as a Riserva during its best harvests. It is the cooperative’ssingular dedication to the Nebbiolo grape which accounts for itscontinuous success and authentic charm of their many vintages.
