Reveilo
Nashik, India
Reveilo is a Nashik based winery widely regarded as one of India’s finest boutique wine producers. The estate is a brainchild of Yatin and Kiran Patil who began their vinous journey with their first vintage in 2005 with Italian winemaker Andrea Valentinuzzi. The Patils who owned over 100 acres of vineyard in Nashik’s sub region of Niphad, transitioned the holdings from table grape to wine grape parcels.
They planted French Noble varieties namely Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Reveilo was India’s first winery to produce a dedicated barrel matured range of red wines and made history with India’s first barrel aged Burdgundian style reserve Chardonnay. The company was also the first to introduce Indians to Sicilian grapes Nero D’Avola and Grillo.
