The 2024 Albamar Albariño is a young, fresh, and mineral-driven white wine with bright citrus and green apple aromas, a crisp, saline palate with zesty acidity, and a dry, chalky finish. It is a classic expression of the Rías Baixas region, offering lively fruit, a balanced structure from six months on lees, and the characteristic minerality and "sea air" notes of Albariño
Spanish white wines don't get as rated as much as the old world bastion's intense reds but one bright white wine bottled in Spain's cool north is a delightful outlier. Albarino is native to the north western region of Rias Baixas and Bodegas Albamar makes a cracking good style, driven by the windswept oceanside terroir and the modern genius of owner winemaker Xurxo Alba. The Albarino specialist has turned the handpicked concentrated grape from the estate's 2.5 hectares into a zesty lemon and green apple led white wine with ample acidity and clean finish. This Spanish wine is right up there with the likes of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio a summer brunch favourite and perfect accompaniment to seafood platters.

Wines under cork are best opened using a corkscrew.
Remove the foil using the corkscrew’s foil cutter and insert the spirally corkscrew into the center of the cork.
Twist in clockwise motion until the corkscrew is entirely inside.
Rest the corkscrew’s lever on the bottle’s lip and pull the handle to bring out the cork.
To get the perfect serving temperature for white wine, store in fridge for up to 3 hours to serve at 8 to 12 degrees C.
