For over five decades, the Neri family has honoured its founding patriarch Giovanni Neri's vision of vinifying age worthy Brunello Di Montalcino wines that set the standard for Sangiovese Grosso in Tuscany's prestigious DOCG. The estate owns 63 acres in Eastern Montalcino's Sesta Bassa area which enjoys a unique Mediterranean micro climate that imbues the fruit with phenolic depth. Giacomo Neri who took over from his father in 1991 has created style driven by age old viticulture and modern fruit forward vinification. The result is an evolved palate of concentrated red fruit, sweet spices and oak maturity sat gently on a finish of firm tannins.
