Billecart Salmon is universally regarded as a brilliant and traditional practitioner of the Methode Champenoise method and great appetite for detail. Founded in 1818 by husband and wife Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, the house of Billecart-Salmon is steeped in two hundred years of Champagne making history. The Champagne house meticulously handpicks grapes from 40 crus and its wines are sought by critics and enthusiasts alike. This superlative Champagne glistens with notes of citrus, apricots and a touch of biscuit, buoyed by creamy texture.

Please store all wines between 12 to 15 degrees Celsius.

Open

Ensure the bottle is chilled down to 5 to 8 degrees before opening. Remove the foil packaging, hold the bottle at a 45 degree angle

Hold the neck of the bottle with both hands and remove the wire cage. Place your left hand at bottom of the bottle and your right hand on the bottle’s neck.

Gently twist the cork open. The pressure inside the bottle will push the cork out, making the recognizable pop sound.

Taste

To get the perfect serving temperature for sparkling wine, store in fridge for up to 4 hours to serve at 8 to 12 degrees C.

Serve sparkling wine in a classic Champagne tulip glass or a classic white wine glass.
