Famille Sabon farms 6 hectares of vines in Côtes-du-Rhône on the western bank of the Rhône river near Lirac. These are all clay and limestone terroirs planted primarily with Grenache with about 10% each Syrah & Cinsault. Each vintage this wine stands out as one of our best CDR values and in 2019 this is doubly so. With a floral expression that we've long associated with vines situated in this southwestern part of the Rhône Valley, the Rhône by Roger Sabon features delicate and racy red and black cherry flavors with just a hint of licorice and pepper all in an easy drinking style.
