Bindi Sergardi is a storied Tuscan family estate that has been integral to theregion’s wine history with a presence of seven centuries and began making winein the region before the famous Antinori and Frescobaldi families. Alessandra andMaddalena Casini Bindi Sergardi in fact are the 23rd generation custodians whobring integrity, authenticity and audacity to the Sienna estate’s modern wines alongwith their father, Nicolò.Bindi-Sergardi crafts wine from three estates around Siena, namely Tenuta IColli, Mocenni, and Marcianella. The soils here are rich in limestone and calciumthat imparts the fruit with vital concentration. The family takes sustainable andorganic viticulture seriously and all fruit is handpicked The warm Mediterraneanclimate and close proximity to the cooling Tyrrhenian sea also play their role in theproduction of wines of high quality and sense of terroir.
